Jayce and Viktor have been together since their college days. By the time they graduated, moving in together felt less like a decision and more like the natural next step and began working at the Academy.
A few months ago, they were handed a set of strange crystals, supposedly they hold magic in them, passed down after multiple research teams failed to unlock their secrets. They knew the assignment was meant to keep them occupied until more suitable work opened up. No one expected much to come of it.
Then everything changed.
Jayce discovered he was pregnant.

“Rough day?” Jayce heard a low but youthful-sounding voice to his right.
“More like a rough year,” Jayce muttered into his glass before finishing the last of his whiskey in one clean swallow.
He turned toward the speaker.
Sitting beside him was… a boy. If Jayce had to pick a single word to describe him, it would be angelic.
His gaze traveled upward, to the long, elegant neck adorned with a black ribbon choker, a delicate silver heart resting at the center. Jayce had several deeply inappropriate thoughts about that ribbon in under three seconds.
And then he reached the boy’s face. It was beautiful. Unfairly beautiful.
Full lips, slightly parted. A beauty mark above them. Another under one eye. And those eyes, sharp, bright, golden. They reminded him of Millie’s eyes.

No, absolutely not.OR: Jayce receives an invitation to Vi and Caitlyn’s wedding. Summary
Vi and her siblings break into Jayce’s dorm looking for a quick score, but things go terribly wrong. An explosion caused by Powder tears through the dorm and half the block around it.
Vi stays behind to make sure her siblings can escape, but through the chaos she was caught by the Enforcers.
Charged as the sole culprit—all that awaited her was a cold sell in Stillwater. But just when it seems her fate is sealed, Jayce—the man she’d tried to rob—steps forward. Against all reason, he takes responsibility, claiming the explosion was the result of his own experiments.
Vi is freed.
For saving her daughter, Silco feels he is indebted to Jayce Talis, he orders Viktor to look into Jayce’s work, to find a way to ease his punishment.
What Silco did not expect was that Viktor, doesn’t just investigate him—he joins him. The two begin building something new, something that will change both Piltover and Zaun forever: Hextech.

Jayce lifted Viktor’s hand to look at the engagement mark: the outline of Viktor’s own teeth below his thumb. Heedless of anyone who might have been watching, he brought Viktor’s hand to his lips and touched a kiss to the wound.
The gesture itself was quite chaste, but its placement made Viktor wonder for the first time in his life what it would feel like to have the outline of someone else’s teeth carved into his neck.
