Summary

Jayce Talis has a problem. Two of them, in fact.
Problem #1: Jayce is paired with Ekko for Heimerdinger’s capstone engineering course. But Ekko isn’t the problem here: It’s Heimerdinger’s response to their new project, which results in him confiscating Jayce’s life’s work on Hextech and taking it who knows where.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s reclusive roommate at Zeta Omega Nu who just so happened to be Heimerdinger’s assistant until a recent falling out left them at odds. With Viktor’s help, Jayce is sure he can get back his research and achieve his Hextech dream.
Problem #2: Jayce needs to get fucked. Badly.
Enter Viktor: Ekko’s best friend who happens to be Jayce’s every fantasy brought to life. But what business does a good boy like Jayce Talis have chasing after punk boys with tattoos and bad attitudes on the verge of expulsion?
If Jayce could just find a way to talk to him, Viktor could be the solution to all of Jayce’s problems. Except…Jayce has already been texting Viktor, pretending to be someone else. Because as far as he knows, Viktor's only interested in girls.

Jayce and Viktor have been together since their college days. By the time they graduated, moving in together felt less like a decision and more like the natural next step and began working at the Academy.

Because solving magical anomalies is one thing.

Since his lab is under construction over the summer, Jayce finds himself agreeing to act as a lifeguard for the new joint beach between Piltover and Zaun.
He isn't expecting to find one beach-goer in particular (with his large floppy hats, loose flowy clothing, and excessive sunscreen) as captivating as he does, or for the opportunity to meet, talk, and work with him to fall into his lap. But it does.
Viktor isn't expecting the muscle-bound lifeguard so diligently guarding the beach to be handsome, brilliant and kind. But Jayce Talis does nothing but surprise him, in the best ways that might have him enjoying his trips to the beach more and more.

As the Jayce tries to fix Zaun circus into a "repectable" place in London, he putts head with every member of the circus, like late Vander's wards, Vi & Jinx, circus' co-leader Silco, and a certain Trapeze artist, that seems so familiar to Jayce.

Viktor had barely settled back into his work when he heard the lab door slowly creak open.
He froze.
The campus should be closed at this time of night, especially on Progress Day. No one except for him, Jayce, Sky, and campus security even had access to enter this lab. He knew for certain Jayce and Sky were not returning until tomorrow morning. Sky left hours ago, mentioning she would be meeting with friends from the Undercity. Meanwhile, Jayce was representing Hextech at the afterparty Viktor declined to attend at the last minute, meeting foreign investors who were visiting for Progress Day.
Viktor whirled around, poised to face the intruder while armed with a flat-head screwdriver as his eyes scanned every corner of the lab in search of an unwelcome visitor.
But no one was there.

Life was good for the Herald of the Arcane, Viktor Talis. His husband Ascending as the Defender of the Arcane saved both him and all of Runeterra from a dark fate. Zaun and Piltover were finally at peace with him and his darling Jayce now overlooking them as their patron gods. They had a small army of adopted children they adored. His commune was thriving. Yes, life was good.
But one question haunted him: Why does the Arcane need a Defender? Ancient magic rumbling from the Shuriman deserts may just hold the answer.
(Sequel to The Defender of the Arcane and His Herald. Story being written in a way that reading the 220k word apotheosis/S2 rewrite shouldn't be necessary.)

His steps echo through the room, with only the feeble light from the hallway casting his shadow upon the dark stones. He can see, faintly, a silhouette through the bars facing him, though the man does not move. Amber eyes shine quietly, watching him with interest. Viktor feels a shiver down his spine, and yet, he keeps walking.
"Jayce Talis, I presume."
The man's face and figure finally come into view. Up close, his features are sharp, sculpted by a rough, half-maintained beard and messy hair. His expression is fixed in a hard glare that does not quite ring true. As though an intentional mask to separate him from the soft, slightly round-faced student Viktor remembers him looking like.
"You're… the Dean's assistant." His voice is low and rough from disuse.
Viktor would usually be offended by the words, but for this one instance, he lets it go. "You recognise me."
"How can I forget the pretty little thing who arrested me?"
Ah. He may have forgotten about that detail.
Or. Stillwater Jayce, assistant turned Dean of Zaun's Academy Viktor, and a start.
