Will Graham isn't particularly inspired by his work for a grocery delivery app, but it's something, and something's a lot better than nothing after being fired from his last job. Picking up the occasional order has never been more than a way to pass the time and pay the bills, but Will quickly finds himself getting abnormally invested in--and annoyed by--his work after his first delivery to the mysterious (and rather rude) H.L.

Will Graham sailed across the Atlantic after he recovered from the jagged slice in his belly. He saw the origami heart left in Palermo. He forgave Hannibal in the catacombs. He even went all the way out to Lithuania, to Lecter castle, in hopes of better understanding the elusive Dr. Lecter. But... he decided, then, that it was best for everyone if he and Hannibal never saw one another again.
He instead retired to a small cabin in Triple Oak, Montana, with only one neighbor. Duncan was gruff at first, but gradually they built a friendship and even more gradually they built something else. Will is happy. Safe. Things are stable.
But Hannibal Lecter cannot let him go that easily, and there are plenty out there who cannot let Hannibal go, either.

It's time to eat out.
"Would you prefer water, tea or coffee?" Will asks, pulling out coffee for himself. "I'd appreciate a glass of water," Hannibal replies. He's still setting the table, having warmed up their meal. Will sees the care Hannibal put into the food just in the presentation alone. Cooking is quite an uncommon hobby for an alpha to have, but Will has learned to savor it and appreciate the gesture.

Hannibal found himself in a rather rare position. He doesn’t find himself rare positions, ever. Hannibal was the kind of man who sits by his desk for hours, silently planning and visualising his whole life in his head; a man who had decided how his life should run, down to the single utmost seemingly insignificant detail before he even graduated high school.
The same man now found himself struggling to uphold his unbothered and calculated composure, a few strands of hair loose from its usual slicked back restraints. He stared at the rejection letter on his iPad, and rubbed his eyes with a tired groan. He was clearly qualified enough for The New York Times. His work was otherworldly, anyone who has ever taught or studied in the same college as Hannibal Lecter would swear by it.

Growing up, Will Graham and his father never stayed anywhere long enough for Will to join a real school choir---but he's sung in more church choirs than he can remember, his daddy made sure of it. Hannibal hears a man sing who can only seem to do it like the music was written for him--no--BY him, and it's an experience like no other. Take that, a beautiful voice and a face gorgeous enough to feel right at home in a Botticelli, and Hannibal's so smitten he's almost afraid to tap the glass, ruin the image.
Luckily for him, fate seems to be doing work enough to bring them together all on it's own. (:

The silence that came right after his question was what gave it away. The fact that he’s going to hate this so called « solution » Alana found.
She looked away. For once, it was not Will avoiding eye contact.
“– Spill it. He finally said, a light annoyed tone in his voice.

____Will isn't one to give up easily, especially since he had dealt with failure three years prior when he was forced to dropped out because of his inflaming brain.
Now, he's back and determined. No amount of illness could make him go back to the boatshop. No amount of tiredness could discourage his graduation.
Not even Hannibal Lecter could get in the way of him becoming a legist.
Unless he got too close.
