He turned around and yelled at the top of his lungs. "WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?"
"Lillium?" "Mr. White?" "Head chef is here?"
They slowly turn to him, muttering to each other as if playing some fucked up, animalistic version of the telephone. They stare at him, as if to see who dared to interrupt them, but he doesn't falter.
The cooks can smell your fear.
That is if you had any left after three years of working with them.
And Lillium for sure didn't.
Though, it is quite concerning they can recognise him from just his yell.

Lillium and Iris work at a restaurant and cafe respectively. Their workplaces just happen to be adjacent to each other and separated by only a thin wall. Chaos and even romance ensues. -

Iris doesn't know how to describe what he's feeling. The emotional whiplash is getting to him, and the dread won't leave. Yet he still hasn't felt this safe in years. He hasn't felt this warm, and this held since he was a kid. The feeling of fingers massaging his scalp and the sound of Lillium`s voice is comforting.

Iris blinks, and thin, hot tears scorch down his cheeks. The vacancy in his eyes haunts Lillium to his bones and he leans forward, pressing his forehead firmly against Iris’ with nothing left to do.
“With me, Iris,” Lillium stresses. “With me.”
Iris stills beneath him, his thrashing slowed. His heart is beating so hard that Lillium can feel it galloping in Iris’ temples.
“W’With you,” Iris whimpers, words clotted and high-pitched in the back of his throat.
Iris gets hurt.
