Summary
One might, hypothetically, wonder how on earth Janus had gotten himself into this situation.
Sure, it looked like Janus had let the whole thing get completely out of hand. Sure, it looked like he was sitting shirtless in the restroom of the university's student union while the love of his life frantically tried to rinse red wine out of Janus' silk shirt. And sure, it looked like he and the love of his life were only pretending to be dating to satisfy nosy coworkers.
It looked like all that, because that's exactly what was happening.
(or: Remus asks Janus to fake-date him so that his coworkers will stop setting him up on blind dates. Janus says yes, because what could possibly go wrong?)
