Summary
What if Harry had never received the letter and the birthday cake fanfare? What if Draco had not had a life forced upon him that he did not wish for? What if it is safer to remove oneself from an equation that has too many unknown values? Life would be so easy if two young boys were allowed to be just that;
Life is never easy. A simple "What if" is never granted, for life is too cold and despicable, so one may have to create a new solution. Let's just say, a certain someone inherited a way to relive days with no regrets, a simple turn of a pin wedged between his tie and his heart. However not all that wish to forget truly do, as one's heart is not one's mind.
OR
Harry inherits a Time-turner and snags its before Hagrid notices it even exists, and Draco seems to have increasingly vivid dreams of a boy he is supposed to hate the longer he stays in that blundering castle. Also what is up with those faded figures they both spy darting through the halls?
