Summary
This is the beginning of a series where I reimagine Golden Age comic book heroes for a modern, more grounded world. The main character, originally Gary Preston, has been reworked into Linda Dale—both for personal reasons and to support future story directions. While the core inspiration comes from mid-century comics, this version of Flame is a dramatic departure from the original 1940s and '50s material. Expect more character arcs, and new villains to fight against our hero.
