Sometimes it felt like she was the only person on earth Camille saw, loved. Other times Camille looked at her with a longing gaze, hunger. Almost predatorily, like Amma was meat, prey her sister wanted to hunt, to consume.
And Amma would let her devour her, hurt her.
Camille was the other half of her, the missing jagged, sharp object that completed her, made her whole. Her sister is her soulmate, her blood, hers.
