Based on the German Rock Musical 'Rock it!' (2010).
Chase joins a school for classical music and while he's there, finds a rock band in the same city. He joins and falls in love with Rock Music instead, spiralling him into a crisis - unfortunately his only way to join in is as a Rock-Punk Guy named 'Mike'. Cue Kaz, the handsome lead singer and guitarist of the band, Rock It! and trouble is mandatory. It's about finding yourself and finding out who you really are, in the end.If you don't know the original movie - which i'm guessing you don't - go watch it if you can find it with subtitles. The movie is good and it's one of the few things that spawned acceptable German songs.
ORIGINAL MOVIE SUMMARY:
Julia (Chase) loves playing the piano and is preparing for the entrance exam to a music boarding school. By chance, she overhears a rehearsal of the band “Rock it” and falls head over heels in love with the singer Nick (Kaz). She is also taken with his music - rock. When she learns that the band is looking for a new keyboard player, she makes a decision. Disguised as a keyboard player, she introduces herself. She doesn't want the band to know that she is actually one of the stuffy boarding school candidates. -
