„Jes…“, he manages to wheeze out, and the pain in his stomach sears and very nearly makes him topple over right there and then. Jesper smiles, more a grimace than anything else and feels the pull in every muscle, every cut stinging in the cool air. He swipes his tongue over bloodied teeth before speaking, “I did not think Kaz Brekker to be someone who offers to help people so freely.”
