Abstract: Humans will try countless remedies to counter loneliness, they will invent imaginary friends, form attachments to objects like blankets and teddy bears, create book clubs and knitting clubs, sing-up for dancing and cooking classes, put on a mask and re-shape their personality just to fit in. Look at the stars and wonder: “Is there anyone there?” “Why hasn’t anyone come and say hi to us?”.
