Velvette has a secret, when she was alive she was a girl named Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and more importantly the hero Ladybug.
Of course that doesn't really matter now, considering she was murdered and consigned to Hell, eventually become the overlord Velvette.
Secrets unfortunately have a habit of coming out, with Velvette unwittingly revealing the fact she was murdered at the rip old age of fourteen years old during an overlord meeting. Soon enough more secrets come to light, and not just Velvette's at that.
Of course Carmilla Carmine on finding out, begins to keep an eye out on the young overlord much to said overlord's annoyance, besides she holds a similar secret to Velvette, being a former ladybug wielder as well.
Besides there’s the fact there are the odd occurrences going on in Paris, and the fact Adam had recently attacked the Hazbin Hotel and the resulting aftermath to consider as well.

Odd AU based on an old sci-fi book where you awaken a power at 10, but the power is random. You could get the power to vanish dog poop, or the power of true immortality ala Wolverine. The abilities activate at age 10.
As Alma flees the raiders, Pedro stays behind, to try and use his power of shield creation to stop the raiders long enough to save his family. He succeeds, but dies in the process, leaving Alma to raise triplets alone. Not only that, a Miracle comes and supercharges Alma's power, and all of her familia's future powers. The town begins to see them as gods. Isabela embraces being a goddess, while Mirabel and Bruno fret over the town and family's opinions of them. Bruno knows the town wants him dead, because he can control the future here. Mirabel is overlooked and seen as weak compared to the goddesses that are her sisters.
Double update, because I wanted to post the Madrigal POV parts really bad! Hopefully they're fun. I may have to increase the chapter count. There's over 11k words of this draft.

It's easier to write headcanons and ramble rather then write full ass fanfiction. I've been busy, depressed, married now, and in a writers block. I recently rewatched Encanto because I have a babysitting job and remembered I love the rat man. Oh and the music. Oh and the outfits. Oh and the message. I love the movie. I'm writing random bullshit cause I can and hopefully it gets me to continue my other fanfic works.
Oh and for full transparency, while I try holding myself to the standard of doing all the characters in the template, sometimes I just don't want to or I don't feel that it's appropriate. Characters like Dolores, Agustin, and Felix were very shorted on backstory and character traits, so it is a bit harder to write for them. Meanwhile, Mirabel and Bruno are fully explained or done so enough (also my favorites). So, I may skip some characters for certain reasons for some chapters.

The Encanto had experienced one of their biggest crises when the Madrigal family saw their Casita fall. Fortunately, they had been able to rebuild it with the help of the townspeople. Following that incident, the mountains were now split up, allowing anyone to get into the Encanto. Funny it took so long for someone new to actually enter the town!
And that first person was the doctor Alborotadora Remedios, therapist. While she had been hiking for days, a bag with all of her things on her back and the sun hot on her dark brown skin, she discovered an opening in the mountains. Her map wasn’t indicating any path or any way through, contradicting what she had in front of her. Wondering if it was related to the recent earthquake she had heard about, she decided to give it a go, reminding herself of all the times she enticed her patients into not being afraid to try new things. What kind of therapist would she be if she wasn’t applying her own advice? She told herself she’d back up if there was any danger.

desperation of a mother is indeed true.
in other summary; it's a fic where julieta raised mirabel as a single mother in which mirabel is a premature baby. though at first i kind of focusing on the angst but the fluff of raising children is irresistible.
