Summary
At the age of twelve, Damian Desmond realised that he was in love with Anya Forger, the commoner, the girl with five Tonitrus Bolts, the girl who had tormented every single moment of his academic career at Eden.
The girl he thought about almost as much as – no, more than – he thought about Stella Stars and pleasing his father.
When Anya heard this while eavesdropping on his thoughts, she panicked and decided that the best thing for the both of them would be distance.
For four years, Anya and Damian had minimal contact, seeing each other in classes and talking only occasionally. Damian’s feelings for Anya did not change but he became better at suppressing them.
So at sixteen, Anya thought that he was finally over her. But it was then that the worst possible thing happened.

“I mean, I gotta hand it to you, you've really dedicated yourself to the perfect student act. Hall monitor, teacher's pet, straight A student.” Her hand slides down, and her fingers hook at his belt, “But that can only get you so far.”
She leans in closer, their faces inches apart, “Because I can tell, you aren't as perfect as you claim to be, are you, Mr. Forger?” -

What if Twilight had a daughter and a wife. And actually had a family outside his spy life? But then in this AU unfortunately (somehow) the word got out to his enemies and they all targeted both the daughter and his wife. The enemies were able to kill the mother but didn't get a change to with the daughter. When Twilight finally arrived at the scene of his dead wife and crying 2 year old daughter he felt a tremendous amount of guilt, knowing what had most likely happened.
After seeing the error in his mistakes he left his daughter in the hands of his sister in-law and father in-law. Time skip to about 8 years later and he receives Operation: Strix, though instead of the headquarters making him adopt a child they make him use his old alias of Loid Forger. Using this alias meant he would have to drag his bio-daughter into this mission, though it might be a little harder than he thinks to get the girl to trust him again. Especially when she can see through almost all his lies.
This story is mainly about restoring the bond between Twilight and his daughter, rather than him having a love interest.
