Summary
The Gods watched over eons of silence — and when their boredom peaks, so does their hunger for blood.
Their solution: The Excalibur trials, a death game in which twelve chosen humans, armed with unique, soul-bound abilities carved into the twelve blades of the Gods, are thrust into a twisted mirror dimension and forced to fight. The prize? Godhood itself, and the legendary 13th blade, Excalibur.
There wasn’t supposed to be a love story. It began as a one-time pact — share power through intimacy, discard the bond when it’s served its purpose. But obsession isn’t easily severed. Now, the lines blur: between strategy and lust, between alliance and addiction, between weapon and lover. In this relationship, they may not even be safe from each other.
