Summary
Jinx was dead. She'd been dead for a few days, actually. She'd only just reunited with Ekko as a ghost beyond the grave, and gone to bed with him with the single promise of how she'd always be there for him.
Turns out the universe had other plans for her. After her "sleep" she finds herself in an all too familiar body, not only alive, but younger too. She was Powder again, and she was standing in the middle of Jayce's workshop on the day of the heist that started everything.

There were many leaders of Zaun since the days when the idea was first generated by three miners with a radical dream everyone else thought would stay in their sleep.
First there was The Hound of the Underground, rallying the nation to strike against those big-dollar murderers that claim to run the city.
Then there was The Eye of Zaun, his watchful gaze stunting Zaun’s growth while he waited for the moment to free it.
Then there was The Blue Smoke, more of a symbol than anything else, shielding Zaun from Piltover’s ever curling iron fist.
But now… no one knew for sure. There weren’t many options left in Zaun that held the same weight as before. It was as if this nation in the wake of its functional independence had no identity left to rally with.…or, What if Jinx dies instead of Isha in Episode 6?

There’s a fiery determination in her blue-gray eyes as she gazes at him with pure hatred and rage, and Silco knows he’s facing someone with the potential to be a better fighter than Vander ever was. Someone who cares to the point of undoing, who would sooner tear down her own body’s boundaries than give up. A soldier with nothing left to lose. A girl in desperate need of something to fight for.
No, not just any girl. Silco knows her name.
“Violet,” he breathes out through the pain, the word escaping from his lips like an epiphany. Her face softens momentarily in confusion, and it’s just enough time for Silco grab a sizeable rock from the rubble around them and bring it crashing into the side of her skull, knocking her unconscious. He struggles to his feet, realization dawning on him as he looks down at Vi’s prone form.
He’s not going to kill her. No, it would be a waste, he sees that now. Instead, he’ll show her there are more useful places to direct her anger. He’ll raise her up to be the best weapon in his arsenal. He’ll teach her to do what Vander could not.
And she will be fearsome indeed.

Vi scrunched up her nose as she read Maddie’s lips and ended up making a monotone sound and instantly regretted it. She hated it when people heard her voice in any kind of way. Sleep. He needed sleep. His mind was playing tricks on him, conjuring sounds and movements where there were none. He moved to set the gadget down, shaking his head as if to clear it. But as he turned to head back to his bed, he froze.
“Boo.”
Ekko wished he could say he didn’t scream. But the truth was, the sound that escaped his throat was high-pitched and undignified, a reflex born of sheer shock. In the same instant, his body moved on its own, hurling the gadget in his hand toward the apparition with all the force he could muster.
The gadget sailed through the air, and straight through her. It clattered against the wall behind her, falling to the floor with a dull thud. Jinx didn’t flinch. She didn’t even blink. Instead, she tilted her head, her smirk widening into a grin.
“Wow, throwing something at me just like that? I’m hurt, Ekko,” she said, her voice echoing faintly, as if it were coming from somewhere far away.
Ekko stared at her, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. This couldn’t be real. It wasn’t real. Jinx was dead. Gone.
And yet, here she was. Floating like a ghost from the afterlife.
“Jinx…?”
