Monsters and humans live peacefully on the surface, without any grudges. In the era of progress, monsters completely abandoned magic, as it was no match for new inventions.
This day was very special for one fox - Kanako. As this was her first... trial? That's right, this story will be different from the rest. Here, she will face opponents not in a fight, but in court. Kanako's a defense attorney, trying to find truth and deliver justice to the ones who are really guilty. On her way she will face serious enemies, but she's supported by her mother, Ceroba and "uncle", Starlo. Will she be able to solve the mystery around her father?
This fanfiction is inspired by Ace Attorney games, but don't worry. Cases are designed from scratch (exept for the first one, more details in notes). Also, huge thanks to the whole KanaClover Discord server for advice! (Some ideas for cases were taken from them).

After the events of the true pacifist route in Undertale Red & Yellow (with Frisk choosing to stay with Toriel):
Monsterkind has been living peacefully on the surface among humans ever since a young child, Frisk, saved them from their long captivity in the underground.
All is well for Frisk and their friends. All except Clover, a young boy who was recently brought back to life by Asriel Dreemurr as gift for his selfless sacrifice in the underground. While he appreciates his second chance at life, he has never gotten over a friend he wishes he had never had to say goodbye to. Chara Dreemurr, the first human to fall into the underground, and one of two ghosts, alongside Clover, who guided Frisk through their journey, has not forgotten about her friend either. Unlike Clover, Chara was not given a second chance at life, and continues to watch over Frisk on the surface. While she enjoys Frisk’s company, Clover has always been at the forefront of her mind. Unknowingly to Clover, there is one way for Chara to return to the living realm. However, Chara has been hesitant to act on this.
After all, such an act would require a permanent marriage of souls.
