Summary
An edgier version of Naruto,
Sasuke has worse coping skills and drags everyone along with him. His bad habits are often enabled by everyone around him, trough this drug and self destructive path he creates unusual bonds.
Naruto is often there to be just as bad and Kakashi is weary of how much responsibility he should shoulder while balancing his own instability.
At the end of the day drowning isn't so bad, not if everyone is drowning too and you enjoy the burning sensation of water filling up your lungs.

After getting stranded in what appears to be an alternate dimension littered with beings named Devils, Tsunade finds herself being followed around by a little boy named Denji and his pesky chainsaw pet, claiming she's his long-dead mother.
Tsunade isn't amused.
Or, seven-year-old Denji thinks it's a miracle his mother is alive. Even though she has a weird purple diamond on her forehead and breaks buildings when she's angry, Denji's never been more thankful to the world for bringing her back. He doesn't care how she's not dead—he's just happy he's clean, full, and warm in her arms.

Summary
Sakura Haruno is not born at the same time as Naruto and the others, on the contrary, she is born at the time of the Fourth Hokage, but a little earlier. A child prodigy who is forced to be Tsunade Senju's apprentice, just as the blonde woman is forced to take an apprentice. Their hatred is reciprocal and Sakura is only used by Tsunade as a doll that binds her to the Village by the Third Hokage. Likewise, the last Senju is the collar that prevents her from following her goals. However, this relationship of hatred and companionship between Sakura and Tsunade leads to a butterfly effect on future events.

After a wildfire, you have two options. Mourn the loss of the forest, or use the fresh soil to rebuild and heal.
A story where Kakashi learns to lean on others just a little earlier, and gives Tsunade a reason to return home, Naruto and Sasuke a family, Sakura an identity, Gai peace of mind, and himself a little bit of hope for the future of the village.
[Basically an entire fix-it plot re-write of Naruto where I fix a lot of the mischaracterization/lost opportunities, mend plot holes, and add in some chakra and jutsu theory because I feel like it.]
