“Baby, what are you reading?” Joonghyuk questions but it sounds odd as he tries to mask the smirk growing on his face. Despite his mechanical office job Dokja has surprisingly quick reflexes and quickly sets his phone down on the bed, the screen facing the mattress and shining its bright light onto the sheets. This elicits a low chuckle from Joonghyuk, he tightens his grip on Dokja’s waist causing the smaller man to squirm trying and failing to keep his boyfriend from picking up the phone. Joonghyuk reaches forward and grabs the phone but Dokja’s slender fingers land on top of his and his neck cranes so that they face each other. Their eyes meet and Dokja adopts a pleading look.
“Don’t look at it…please”

This was frowned upon by most constellations. Looked down on and sneered at. Seen as well beneath them and Sun Wukong would normally agree with them. That he wasn’t ever going to lower himself to that kind of muck and despair again, that he had earned this peace and power.
But he was also…bored. There was only so much entertainment one could find in the same stories without growing annoyed. He changed streams over and over again in search of something new but most often found them all closed down to focus on the space around him instead. The innate comfort of home had grown suffocating after so many millennia in a way that he loathed. This was supposed to be his resting place for the rest of eternity but he was desperate for more stimulation.
He wanted to get his hands dirty again.
