They all care too much about their own survival, even at the cost of a little girl’s life. Quite pathetic, actually. But you guess that’s what the Capitol wants from its subjects.
However, you’ve been waiting for this moment. You refuse to submit. You stand up straight and take a deep breath before he even finishes the words. You step as far forward as you can towards the rope to separate yourself from those around you. As he finishes you raise your hand without hesitation and project your voice loudly and confidently for all to hear.

Since her brothers have rebelled, the Zale siblings are left without parents. It was told that it was a boat accident but the siblings knew it was President Snow.
Now at the age of her last year to have her name in the glass bowl whose sole purpose was to hand out death sentences. Kailani knew President Snow was out for her family. It wouldn't surprise her if it was her name only in the death bowl.When her name was called, Kailani made a quick decision that she was going to win, not just for her family, her district but for everyone. She wore the weight of the world on her shoulders.
But she wasn't alone. She had her best friend, Finnick mentoring her.
